Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and material costs.
Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals and bids.
Assist in the preparation of bid submissions and presentations.
Maintain and update a database of unit costs and historical data for future reference.
Provide support during the project execution phase to address any cost-related queries.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all estimates.
Participate in post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement in estimating processes.
