Develop and manage detailed plumbing designs and models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate plumbing systems into overall building designs.
Conduct clash detection and resolution to prevent design conflicts.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Perform calculations for plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and waste systems.
Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to plumbing design and BIM.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in plumbing design and BIM modeling.
Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
