· Conduct thermal analysis on various components of a Heat Exchanger System, Shell and Tube, Fin Fan etc
· Release results as 'technical documents' after review by the senior members of the team.
· Utilize the core competencies of thermal and fluid sciences, using and advancing analytical and experimental approaches to answer key questions about the performance and architecture of a system or component.
· Make decisions in the areas of day to day project details, such as conducting analysis, testing, and communication with stakeholders that impact and support the successful progression of projects.
· Provide independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still develop technology or product knowledge. engage with the improvement of systems and processes.
· Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices
· Provide support to engineering team as needed by creating digital models within deadlines and utilising multiple methods to ensure deliverables include all relevant design details
· Assist in ongoing project to standardise and unify design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary
· Position instructions and comments onto drawings.
· Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
Qualifications:
· Mechanical Design engineer with work experience in Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels and FinFan units
· Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks software in Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels and FinFan
· Advanced knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering, in Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels.
· Knowledge of safety and structure regulations.
· Excellent technical design skills in Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels and FinFan units
· Excellent technical design skills in ASME Section 8 Div 1, U Stamp
· Min 3 years working in Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Desalination projects
· Advantage is knowledge of FEA and ANSYS, software
