1. Participate where required in all aspects o the project management for the mechanical works.
2. Manage and supervise the onsite mechanical works.
3. Undertake the detailed short-term planning and coordination at site in accordance with the master program.
4. Ensure that all information is available to under the works.
5. Ensure materials are available at site to undertake the works.
6. Ensure all materials are correctly stored at site and installed without damage.
7. Arrange the required tools and equipment to be available at site.
8. Control of the quality and technical correctness of the installation in accordance with the project quality assurance plan.
9. Ensure that the works are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with the project safety plan.
10. Allocate the workforce to areas of the sire base on the programme, nature of the works and the skills required.
11. Coordinate with the main contractor and other subcontractors at sire.
12. Set targets and monitors the productivity of the workforce at sire.
13. Arrange skills development and training for the foremen and site workforce.
14. Monitor the production and quality of subcontractors works at site.
15. Identifies additional works at sire and advices the project engineers.
16. Identifies delays at site and notifies the project engineers.
17. Implements the inspection and test plan and obtain the supervising engineer’s approval at each stage of the works.
18. Maintain records of the changes to the working drawings to enable the record drawings to be produced.
19. Manages the system testing and commissioning
20. Responsible for allocating permit to work certificates
21. All staff will be required to support a duty roster to enable to deliver a 24/7 365 service.
