Architects create designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments. They use their specialist construction knowledge and high-level 3D skills drawing skills to design buildings, interior spaces, that are functional, safe, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing.
Resposapilities:
- Prepare and present design proposals.
- Prepare tender and planning applications and presentations
- Produce detailed drawings from which costings are made
- Prepare 3D renderings using appropriate design programs. (3d MAX...etc)
- Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
- Attending regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists
- Gathering material samples and pricing from local or international market suppliers.
- Coordinating the work of contractors
- Making site visits to check on progress
- Making sure that the project is running within the agreed time frame
- Dealing with problems that might come up during building.
