Job Description
Design Development: Collaborate with the project team in the development of architectural designs, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry standards, and company guidelines. Drafting and Documentation: Create detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documentation using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). Site Analysis: Conduct site visits and analyses to gather relevant information for project planning and design. Coordination: Work closely with senior architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Research and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the team. Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand their needs, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback into project development. Project Support: Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus. Previous internship or relevant work experience is advantageous.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Minimum 2-5 years' related experience, preferably in the international/Middle East construction industry, particularly with main contracting firms. Exposure to various project phases, including design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Familiarity with sustainable design principles and practices.
