The role entails monitoring of security related systems and providing technical advises for the design, operation and assessment of the CCTV and other ELV systems including integrated security system being developed and installed in Client premises. To supervise project team and ensure that work is carried out properly by the competent Subcontractor.
Coordinates with the specified contractors for the regular maintenance and repair; assess the PPM works and provide technical assessments with the following ELV systems: CCTV/ IP Surveillance, Fire Alarm System ( Addressable & Conventional System), MATV/SMATV/ IPTV , Vehicle Access Control, Door Access Control, Public Address, Data transmission IT Networks; Local Area Networks(LAN) using Fiber Optic, Copper or Wireless
Acts as the specialist for ELV systems’ design and operations and liaises with the FM/FE, Client and the specialized Subcontractor for the routine maintenance.
Provides technical advises on ELV systems, integrated security systems and associated telecom/networking infrastructure designs and specifications in accordance with relevant standards, code of practice and current legislations.
Provides high level and detailed design technical documentation, including CAD drawing review and development.
Responsible and accountable for the proposed integrated technical solutions design across various subcontractors and subsystem solutions.
Supports the Operations in understanding the technical risks, dependencies and issues that may exist and be able to determine the impact that they may have on the project.
Ensures that all project specifications are implemented in the technical solution and are compatible with the building’s overall architecture including structured cabling.
Identifies any compliance issues with recommended resolution options.
Meets and discusses with the Client representatives, end-users and other stakeholders about the CCTV and other ELV systems design and configuration required as per design.
Researches and disseminates knowledge of existing, new and proposed products and services available relevant to ELV systems.
Coordinates with the Client’s representative for the status of major activities as requested by the Client (new installations, rehabilitations, extra projects…).
Prepares and submits the required Client reports on planned intervals.
Preparing project estimates, cost-benefit analysis related to ELV system maintenance.
Responsible for reporting to and referring to the FM the project performance, internal and external issues, client complaints and the proposed actions or decisions needed
