Job Description
Design, execution, and coordination of mechanical systems in commercial projects, particularly in supermarkets and hypermarkets, with specialized expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting installations.
Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive mechanical designs and specifications, ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and adherence to local and international standards.
Oversee the execution and site implementation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems, coordinating with construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate installation, compliance with design plans, and seamless integration with other building services.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control assessments to monitor the progress and compliance of mechanical installations, identifying and resolving any technical issues or deviations from design specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices in HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting installations, implementing hazard identification and risk mitigation measures to maintain a safe working environment for construction personnel.
Collaborate with procurement teams to source and select appropriate mechanical equipment, components, and materials, ensuring compatibility with project requirements, cost-effectiveness, and timely availability.
Conduct performance testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures, and fire fighting apparatus, to verify proper functioning, adherence to performance standards, and achievement of design objectives.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams during the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with design plans and project timelines.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to provide progress updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction with regards to HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting system installations.
