Provide technical support and input (Mechanical and infrastructure works Disciplines) to the Engineering / Technical Manager on the strategy related to Mechanical, Infrastructure sustainability, green building, and energy efficiencyCheck and comment on the design submittals / loading assumptions, soft and hard copies of calculations and drawings to provide comments and assurance on design standards, codes of safety and stability, strength and stiffness specificationsCommission or carry out a thorough site survey to ensure that work is carried out to the appropriate standards for District Cooling, TSE, Pneumatic waste collection system, Storm water, Potable Network, Natural gas etc.Design/review local Mechanical projects and infrastructure at various stages, in line with the approved design criteria and standardsConduct Value Engineering studies in order to identify and recommend areas for cost reduction from optimal re-design of projects and optimal quantity of required construction materialsInterface with consultants, Local authorities, developers to monitor the status of the Projects and peruse the approvalsReview, comment and validate any changes from approved tender documents proposed by • consultants / contractors.Review the cost and time impact submitted by consultants and advise the project head the actual impact and mitigation measures.Coordinate internally with project head and procurement department and assist them to obtain necessary approvals as per company procedures.Validate the Consultants proposals and advice management of the recommendation for appointment of ConsultantsLiaison with the consultants to make sure that the drawings and design are as per the local regulations and international standards and codes of safety and stability.Conduct the review, provide advice and recommendations for amendments to the design at various stages of the project
