• Ensuring implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policy and quality management systems.• Help reducing energy costs.• Promote response towards plant stoppages; taking corrective, preventive and countermeasure actions to maintain plant operation.• Follow up the implementation of department policies within the shift.• Reporting to department manager for shift activities, plant delays and consumed spare parts.• Follow up labor attendance and activities within the shift.• Train technicians on scientific trouble shooting and make sure they are trained on required technical skills in cooperation with Mechanical and Production departments.• Decrease the department down time to achieve the budget.• Prepare modifications proposals for department manager to improve safety (people and or equipment), quality, cost, and / or plant performance.• Hand over procedures to next shift.
