Responsibilities:Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, methods and schedules.
Design a record for each machine containing operating instructions, routine maintenance procedures and breakdowns.
Supervise and direct the technicians to routine maintenance for machinery according to work schedules.
Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
Diagnosing breakdown problems.
Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
Determination of critical spare parts and arranging its availability.
Carrying out quality inspections on maintenance tools to make sure that it works properly.
Keep maintenance department and machinery status reports and report to operation manager.
Carry out the training need analysis, annual and semi-annual appraisals for maintenance staff.
Carry out repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner.
Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules(PPM).
Carry out (PPM) schedule as necessary and planned work orders as required.
Report to break down the root cause, equipment faults and concerns to management, Group Leader and Lead Tech.
Plan / Prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
Fill in job tickets / CMMS on completion of work.
Manufactures spare parts as required.
Identify spares requirements and control /log usage.
Assist with the moving, installation, re positioning of machines and equipment.
