Quality Assurance
Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for AC production lines
Maintain quality documentation (QCPs, SOPs, Work Instructions)
Ensure compliance with AHRI, ISO 9001, UL, and CE standards
Quality Control
Conduct incoming inspection of raw materials (coils, compressors, refrigerants)
Perform in-process inspections (assembly, brazing, electrical testing)
Final product testing (performance, leak, electrical safety)
Manage calibration of test equipment (pressure gauges, multimeters)
Production Support
Monitor critical processes (refrigerant charging, electrical wiring)
Lead root cause analysis for quality issues (8D, 5Why)
Implement corrective/preventive actions
Supplier Quality
Conduct supplier audits and evaluations
Approve first article inspections for new components
Customer Quality
Handle customer complaints and warranty claims
Prepare quality reports for clients
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise QC inspectors and test technicians
Train production staff on quality standards
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of AC components and refrigeration cycle
Experience with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA)
Proficient in testing equipment (leak detectors, airflow testers)
Understanding of safety standards (UL 1995, IEC 60335)
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
3+ years QA/QC experience in HVAC/AC manufacturing
Certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma preferred
Knowledge of refrigerant handling regulations
