Back-end developer required
Job Description
Develop back-end APIs in Node.js using JavaScript
Manage and maintain our My Sql DB
Secure the back-end using security best practices against major security threats.
Develop backend APIs to cater for features required as per documented feature stories.
Use clean code and coding best practices (e.g. unit testing).
Job Requirements
A bachelor’ degree (computer science, engineering, preferred)
2-5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of
HTML
JavaScript (ES5 and ES6)
Node.js
Database Schemas
Data Structures
Git
Agile
Swagger
Postman
Excellent English language skills

Responsibilities:
• Reviewing nandbox products requirements and preparing test scenarios with the acceptance criteria.
• Plan & executing the test & verifications with each update and releases.
• Using Jira tools, create cards and make effective notes for the found issues. In some cases, the issues require screen recording to be included.
• Executing Ad-hoc testing which includes complex scenarios.
• Manual testing and regression of our products which include (Web ,Android, IOS, server backend).
• API Testing.
Job Requirements:
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Hands on experience with web based system and mobile applications testing.
• Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Ability to work with software developers and discuss technical issues.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
• A good understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
