1. Direct and manage construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
2. Compute HVAC load and requirements, water flow rates, and materials to determine design specifications.
3. Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
4. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints and topographical or mechanical systems data to plan projects
5. Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential mechanical studies and projects.
6. Assessing the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertaking risk management in specialist roles.
7. Generating Statements of Work and reviewing Subcontractor Technical Proposals for accuracy and acceptance.
8. Assist and/ or confer with engineers, customers, and others in developing programs for new projects or plan existing major repair projects.

. Performs assignments independently with instruction as to the general results expected and with guidance from management and or engineering specialist on unusual or complex problems.
