MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Responsible for maintenance of all conventional repeater sites that support the ASTRO radio system. (45%)
- Be able to work with outside agencies concerning the system and provide escort services when needed. (%)
- Be responsible for radio programming and installing software updates when required. (%)
- Responsible for vehicle radio installations and repairs. (%)
- Responsible for reprogramming radios, over the air rekey (OTAR), and troubleshooting all associated equipment. (%)
- Identify improvements and make recommendations for enhancements and upgrades to the overall performance of the system. (%)
- Performs other duties and assignments as required. (5%)
