Duties & Responsibilities:
Study assigned portion/system/division of the Tender in case of completion and feasible to start the bid study with and reports (Review project specifications and Bill of Quantity against project drawings to ensure accuracy of all estimates produced).
Check tender documents completeness and Classify tender documents as per departments scope.
Prepare list of major quantities.
Review and prepare inquiries (RFQs) to suppliers/sub-contractors.
Prepare tender queries to client/Engineer.
Visit tender site and collect technical data and support in the site visit report preparation.
Communicate with suppliers/sub-contractors, receive offers and compare the offers technically and commercially.
Prepare Technical Proposal for assigned portion and reports.
Prepare itemized lists, including all necessary details of materials for the bid to fully comply with the specification.
Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labor and equipment for construction projects based on contract bids, schematic drawings and specifications using current quotations, and historical information for his / her assigned portion of the study for final approval.
General Requirements & Qualifications:
Graduate as a Civil Engineer from well reputable University.
5+ years in the same field with relevant experience in '' Power or Special Projects''.
Good command of the English language.
Familiar with industry standards and codes.
Having a good level of understanding of static analysis, strength of materials, and structural analysis.
knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
