Job Title: Senior Project Engineer
Mode of Employment: Full time only
Project Engineering & Management for medium & Low voltage distribution systems including Gas Insulated and Air Insulated switchgears, Low voltage switchgears, transformers, protection systems, bus ducts etc !Execution of orders within timeline and in line with financial objectives.
Coordination with factories for project execution, resolution of issues, conducting FAT with customer! What are my responsibilities? Executing the project within the defined requirements (e.g. cost, time, functionality).
Ensuring business success and happiness of the customer.
Ensuring professional partner management.
Ensuring timely decisions on open issues, escalating if necessary.
Ensuring to improve or maintain the project / order profit via good claim management and variation orders utilizing the assistance of internal team.
Resolution of any customer related project customer concern to meet customer satisfaction Understanding customer specifications and scope of work.
Quality of revenue/receivable reports and follow-up to meet the commitments Understanding Shell DEP and IEC Should have the Risk management skills (Preferred) to anticipate project risk(s) at the time of offering and then mitigating this risk during the execution.
To think creatively within the customer requirements / specifications and to come up with most optimize technical and commercial solution giving Siemens competitive position over competition.
Ensuring timely claim management and realization of claims as per claim process Identifying and implementing key strategies in winning a project including accurate selection of vendors.
What do I need to qualify for the job?
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Electrical or Electronic or Mechatronics.
At least 3-5 years of meaningful experience in a similar field Understanding of Non-Conformance reporting and cost bookings Strong Sales acumen and diligent Business development skills would be highly favorable What else do I need to know?
