-Prepare structural designs for precast concrete elements such as:
Walls, Columns, Beams, Slabs, Stairs, Hollow Core and Double Tee systems
-Perform structural analysis using specialized engineering software.
-Prepare and review structural design calculations.
-Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with approved designs.
-Design reinforcement details, connections, lifting, and fixing systems.
-Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards such as SBC, ACI, and PCI.
-Coordinate with the production department to ensure manufacturability of precast elements.
-Provide technical support for installation teams and resolve site-related engineering issues.
-Review lifting, transportation, and erection loads.
-Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
-Prepare technical reports and engineering correspondence.
-Attend technical meetings with clients and consultants when required.
-Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and precast structural design.
-Good understanding of engineering codes and standards including:
ACI, PCI, SBC, ASTM
-Proficiency in engineering software such as:
ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures
-Ability to read and prepare structural drawings.
-Good understanding of precast manufacturing and erection processes.
-Knowledge of reinforcement detailing and precast connections.
-Familiarity with quality control procedures in precast factories.
