Job Description:
Mechanical Engineer specialized in Carbon Steel Projects for Desalination
Responsibilities:
Design, supervise, and manage mechanical aspects of carbon steel piping projects.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and timelines.
Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for mechanical systems.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of carbon steel piping systems.
Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Perform quality control inspections and resolve any mechanical engineering issues that arise during project execution.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in carbon steel piping technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Proven experience in designing and managing carbon steel piping projects, preferably in desalination or water treatment.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, fluid dynamics, and material science.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant engineering software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
