Follow up with team to determine projects and plants civil engineering requirements
Keeping organization up to date with advanced technologies, design trends and civil engineering best practices
Perform and maintain work to local and international codes.
Planning and executing civil designs using CAD, Autodesk Revit, STAAD Pro and similar programs
Conduct researches to review, comment and approve civil designs proposed by engineering contractors
Review design calculations and specifications for civil loads, concrete, rebar and Structural Steel
Design, specify and review architecture proposals including interior designs
Review Civil design process and approve designs and shop drawings,
Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents
Review Engineering firms and vendors deliverables and proposals
Issuing Purchasing request for proposals, quotation and bids,
Help in developing Projects budgets
Manage project timelines
Supervise and follow work execution at site during construction
Assist in the completion of process design studies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Min7 years of Experience in Civil deign and Civil Construction
Experience in Design, and supervision of green/brown field projects including Land Development, Masonry buildings, warehouses, Steel Structure, pipe racks and underground piping erection
Experience in using international codes
Good experience in using Engineering software CAD
Good experience in calculating loads and design concrete foundations and retraining walls
Sound experience with Abu Dhabi and ADNOC civil codes and standards
