Description
JASARA PMC is looking for a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction sites. You will work closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure that all mechanical work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with project specifications. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure effective communication.
Review mechanical drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, records, and schedules.
Participate in safety meetings and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
Assist in project close-out activities, ensuring all systems are operating as intended.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer in the construction industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
