YOUR ROLE:Develop, implement, and maintain new and existing data pipelines within our data lake
Create use-case specific data assets in collaboration with our data scientists and business users
Develop understanding of Henkel’s rich data landscape
Monitor and debug ETL pipelines
Maintain/enrich our automated data catalog
Ensure proper data governance including GDPR and our internal rules for data processing
YOUR SKILLS:Bachelor''s degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or any relevant study
Minimum two years of experience as data engineer
Fluent English speaker
Knowledge about one or more general programming languages: practical experience with Python and others like Scala
Experience with SQL and non-SQL data bases, as well with ETL processes
Experience with Hadoop Map-Reduce, Spark, Hive, Databricks or similar technologies
Knowledge about cloud platform data tools, preferred Azure, AWS or others
Basic knowledge about SAP connectors and data structures is a plus
Experience in front-end development; JavaScript is a plus
