Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision:
· Oversee and manage on-site construction activities to ensure work is completed as per approved plans and schedule.
· Coordinate with subcontractors, laborers, and vendors for efficient site execution.
· Monitor workforce productivity and provide guidance as needed.
Technical Oversight:
· Interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
· Ensure construction work meets engineering standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
· Assist in resolving any on-site technical issues or discrepancies.
Quality & Safety:
· Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards.
· Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and minimize rework.
· Report safety violations or hazards to the appropriate personnel immediately.
Planning & Coordination:
· Support the project manager in planning material delivery, manpower deployment, and resource allocation.
· Maintain daily work logs, site reports, and photo documentation.
· Attend coordination meetings with project stakeholders and update on progress/issues.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting:
· Track and report project progress against the schedule.
· Identify delays or risks and recommend corrective actions.
Skills:
Proficiency in interpreting drawings, site layouts, and technical documents.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site safety practices.
Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, or site management software.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
