Job Key Details:
Responsible for daily coordination with the contractors as well as suppliers
Offer support and guidance to the contractor and assists in resolving site problems
Check and report on contractor's progress of works ensuring contractors meet the high quality standards
Oversee technical staff and consultants assigned to the project and monitor work during the project progress
Prepare progress reports on construction activities according to the agreed timeframe of works
Analyze work progress on a daily basis
Assist in preparing designs, budgets, resource requirements as well as work plans for the civil works
Supervise the design and construction works required to develop infra-structure for security systems
Make sure all construction projects follow building as well as safety regulations
Manage and direct construction workers as well as subcontractors
Job Qualifications and Experience
Possess a Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university with a strong infrastructural background
At least 3+ years of experience in major construction works
Good planning and organizational skills
Should be able to work independently, multi-task and prioritize work
Must be familiar with the regulations and requirements of authorities for example DEWA, ENOC, RTA etc
Strong knowledge of standards, specifications as well as BOQ
Should be computer literate with strong knowledge in the use of Word, Exceland PowerPoint etc
Should be proactive, pragmatic and capable of delivering results
