Job Details:
Work as part of a team to prepare and develop structural designs, drawings and specifications for precast concrete structure manufacturing.
Produce preliminary packages consisting of design documentation, sketches, take offs, etc. for sales department to use in preparing bids for clients.
Supervise staff of project managers and technical assistants.
Review contract drawings and develop design layouts, reinforcing steel designs, load analyses, etc. including safe lifting and handling methods.
Review project details and provide design assistance in development phase to sales department, outside consulting engineers, clients and agencies.
Develop and deploy finite element analysis design tools to optimize material use and labor efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Civil Engineering Degree.
One year experience in construction field.
Project management skills.
Well versed in MS Office.
