RESPONSIBILITIES:Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirementsPlan and design major civil projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, water and waste management systems and structural steel fabricationsDevelop construction specifications and proceduresEvaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materialsInterpret, review and approve survey and civil design workConduct field services for civil worksEnsure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications for building codes and other regulationsEstablish and monitor construction work schedulesConduct feasibility studies, economic analyses, municipal and regional traffic studies, environmental impact studies or other investigationsMonitor air, water and soil quality and develop procedures to clean up contaminated sitesConduct technical analyses of survey and field data for development of topographic, soil, hydrological or other information and prepare reportsAct as project or site supervisor for land survey or construction workPrepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projectsSupervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates.IMPORTANT – NOT FOR PEOPLE ON VISIT VISADesired Candidate ProfileShould be a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma Holder.Should have min 3 yrs of experience.THIS JOB IS NOT FOR CANDIDATES ON VISIT VISAPreferred Nationalities – INDIAN, PAKISTANI, FILIPINO, LEBANESE, JORDANIAN, MOROCCAN, EGYPTIAN, PALESTINIAN, SRI LANKAN, SYRIAN
